Erma Laverne (Finch) Caldwell, 76, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015, in Fort Worth. Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Saturday, June 13, First United Methodist Church of Joshua. Burial: Caddo Cemetery, Joshua. Visitation: 6-8 PM Friday at First United Methodist Church, Joshua. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lavella Finch; father, Stanton Victor Finch; and brothers, Richard and Donald Finch. Erma was born July 27, 1938, in Texarkana, to Stanton and Lavella (Brown) Finch. She resided in Joshua for 46 years. Erma was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Joshua. She had a passion for traveling, having traveled all over the world. Survivors: husband of 59 years, Louis Caldwell Sr.; daughter, Derenda Goodspeed and husband Gary; son, Louis Caldwell Jr. and wife Jan; grandchildren, Krystal Fagan and husband Chad, Robert Sarchet and wife Shandy, (Trey) Louis Caldwell III, Aaron Caldwell and Katie Goodspeed; great grandchildren, Marshall Fagan, Cadence Fagan, Sawyer Fagan, Zayne Sarchet, Corbyn Sarchet, and Halen Hardin; sister, Dorathy King; extended family and friends.
