Erna Anna Schneider

Erna Schneider, 88 of Burleson, a homemaker, died Friday Oct. 29, 2010 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday. Interment: Greenacres Memorial Park, Cleburne. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lutheran Braille Workers. Erna Anna Schneider was born Feb. 8, 1922 in Hamilton County to William Walter and Anna Helen Menzdorf Wendland. She married Wilford B. Schneider on May 31, 1941 in Hamilton. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and dancing. She was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Survivors: Husband, Wilford B. Schneider; sons, Harold Schneider and wife, Kathleen, of Austin, Darrel Schneider and wife MaryAnn of Arlington; daughter, Judy Jenkins of Dallas; grandchildren, Jayton Jenkins, Ginger Dolins, Carrie McGee, Mark Schneider, James Schneider, Michael Schneider; great grandchild, Clayton J. McGee.
