Ernest Fredrick Heard, 57, of Joshua, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 from a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. Funeral Service: 2PM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 1PM before service. Interment: Crowley Cemetery. Ernest was born June 26, 1960 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Lonnie and Nancy (King) Heard. He was an Army vet, a member the American Legion, a friend of Bill W., and a member of the Joshua Methodist Church. His biggest joy was his family and friends. Ernest was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie and his grandparents. Survivors: wife, Nina; mother, Nancy; daughter Melanie and husband, Justin; sons, Lonnie and wife, Shawnda, Michael and wife, Stephanie, Joey (Malia), Jason and wife, Chandra; brother, Derek and wife Brandi; sister, Remonda and husband, Robert; 16 grandchildren; many other loving family and friends.
