Ernestine G Rehorovic
October 4, 1919 — January 16, 2019
Ernestine G. Rehorovic, 99, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, January 16 in Burleson, Tx.
Viewing will be Monday, January 21 from 11:00am - 1:00pm at First United Methodist Church of Joshua. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm at the church directly following viewing. Interment will follow at Burleson Memorial Park, Burleson, TX.
Born on Oct. 4, 1919, in Jefferson County, Ernestine married Henry Paul Rehorovic Nov. 29, 1941. The two were blessed to be together for 70 years, even renewing their vows on Nov. 29, 2011. Now, they are once again holding hands in their joyful reunion.
Ernestine was humble in spirit and had a true servant's heart. She loved her family, and devoted her life to caring for them. She unselfishly sacrificed by always putting the needs of others always before her own. Everyone knew her as a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and "GG" great grandmother, sister, sister in law, aunt and "Mom" to many whose own mother she became. Many were blessed to be considered her dear friend. Ernestine was an extremely talented homemaker, gardener and artist.
Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Rehorovic and daughter, Marilyn Hall.
Survivors include daughter, Marsha Tadsen and husband Terry, of Burleson; grandchildren, Jennifer Coward and husband Sam, of Forney, Tx, Tyler Hall and wife Ashley of Norfolk, VA; great grandchildren, Jackson Messer, Jamison Messer, Case Coward, Charlotte Hall, Maylee Hall, Bentley Thomas Hall; son in law Bentley Hall, and wife Claudette of Streetman, Tx; extended family and friends.
No words of gratitude can be expressed to the loving staff at Heritage Place Assisted Living, for whom she prayed for and encouraged daily. A very special thank you to Myra Price with FUMC who served her faithfully over the last 8 years.
