Esther Viola Atchison

BURLESON -- Esther Viola Atchison, 85, a homemaker, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, in Keene. Funeral: noon Sunday at Cross Roads Fellowship Church in Joshua. Burial: Prairie Springs Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Esther was born Sept. 7, 1921, in Buckholtz to William and Rosa Roland Beard. She loved fishing, camping and spending time with grandchildren and family. She also loved canning. Survivors: Son, Jimmy Atchison and wife, Judy, of Burleson; cousin, Emmett Pfanstiel of Burleson; grandchildren, Doug Jeffress and wife, Maylene, Rodney Jeffress, Wesley Jeffress, Aaron Morgan and wife, Nita, Tracy Shelley and husband, Alan, Stephen Atchison and wife, Amy, and Deborah Jerry and husband, David, all of Burleson; eight great-grandchldren; brothers, Arville Beard and wife, Charlie, of Burleson and Clifton Beard of Arlington; sisters, Faye Dennie of Burleson and Irene Morton of Egan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
