Ethel Lee Gude

Ethel Lee Gude, 89 of Burleson, a retired manager for Hilley's Pharmacy in Burleson, died Thursday Aug. 4, 2011 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Private Interment: Monday in Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: None. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the America Heart Association or a charity of choice. Ethel Lee Gude was born July 20, 1922 in Galveston to Carey Taylor and Betty Ann Morrison Hawkins. She married Joseph Alonso Gude on May 6, 1940 in Corpus Christi. He preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1980. She loved working at Hilley's Pharmacy and she loved people. Survivors: Daughter, Marcy Elliott of Burleson; grandsons, Jeremy Elliott of Dallas, Joseph Elliott of Burleson; brother and sister in law, Robert and Mary Gude of Fort Worth; several nieces and nephews.
