Eva T. (Torresbaca) Mundy

June 8, 1942 — July 3, 2023

Eva T Mundy was born in Parral, Chihuahua Mexico on June 8, 1942 and passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 3, 2023 in Burleson Texas.

Eva grew up in Parral surrounded by family who loved and adored her. She lost her mother at an early age and willingly took on the maternal responsibility to help raise her younger siblings. She worked hard to ensure that everyone received a quality education and could advance in life.

She married Frank L Brown and had two children, Nancy Brown and Frank Brown II. The family moved to Joshua in the 80's and she quickly established herself as a hard working and fiercely loyal personality. She had various positions but quickly discovered a need for local restaurants and began manufacturing restaurant uniforms. Eva's Uniforms quickly became a successful company and allowed her to express her love of sewing while adding value to the community.

A few years after losing her first husband she met and married the love of her life, Ray Mundy. They were able to successfully blend families because of her unyielding love and acceptance for everyone.

In addition to sewing, she enjoyed all forms of art and dance. She was a loyal friend who could always be counted on and would help anyone who asked. She was a magnificent butterfly who loved life and people and shared her gusto with everyone she met.

We will be eternally grateful to have known and loved her. Our world will be forever darker without her shining light.
