Evelyn Bernice "Evie" Roberts

JOSHUA -- Evelyn "Evie" Bernice Roberts, 81, of Joshua passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Caddo Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Evie was born June 9, 1932, in Fort Worth to Dewey Paul and Laura Mae Jones Littlepage. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Evie loved working at Wal-Mart as a cashier, crocheting and she enjoyed outings with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roberts, on Aug. 29, 2005; a son, Jack Stiles Jr.; and a daughter, Tujuana Stiles. Survivors: Daughters, Tonjia Reed and husband, Johnny, of Hughes Springs, Tarina Woods and husband, William, of Watagua, Patsy Chapman and husband, Lonnie, of Harrah, Okla.; sons, Paul Roberts and wife, Dawn, of Burleson, Claude Roberts and wife, Pam, of Harrah, Okla.; brother, Narlen Parten of Joshua; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
