Finesse Wylie "PeeWee" Coleman Sr., 88 a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Nov. 1, 2010 in Burleson. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Burleson Church Of Christ. Interment: 9:45 a.m. Friday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. PeeWee was born Aug. 28, 1922 in Fort Worth to Finesse Elmo and Tina Lee Grigsby Coleman. He graduated from Cleburne High School. He was drafted into the US Army Dec. 8, 1942. He was a radio repairman and earned military qualification of "expert" with an M-1 rifle, serving in the 94th Signal Co. in Europe. PeeWee actively served many roles in building the community of Burleson from the 1950's through 1973. He met his wife Retta Ann Drummond at the Burleson Church of Christ. They were married in 1954. PeeWee devoted his life to God, family, agriculture, and doing good in the community. Survivors: Wife, Retta Ann Drummond Coleman; children, William Lee Coleman and wife, Dorothy, of Magnolia, Mary Ann Bock of Cleburne, Finesse Wylie Coleman, Jr. and wife, Lori, of Burleson, Laura Lynn Goleman and husband, Jack, of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Kristina Amanda Coleman, Shawn Brice Coleman, Lana Elaine Goleman, Quinton Elliot Bock, Juliet Marie Bock, Brazos Keene Bock, Cade Wylie Coleman, Ethan and Eli Jones; brother, Elmo Coleman, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
