Flora Belle Yowell Aylor-Caudle, 92, went home to heaven on Thursday, July 4, 2013, with loved ones by her side. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park in Burleson. Memorial: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Pointe Church (First Baptist), 2450 SW Wilshire, Burleson, Texas 76028. Flora was born Aug. 19, 1920, in Duet, Va., to Luther B. Yowell and Mary Annie Hawkins Yowell. She retired from Blue Bell, Inc. (Vanity Fair Corp.) in Madison, Va., and moved to Texas in 1985. In addition to her husband, Russell Caudle, she was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Malon House Aylor of Novum, Va.; sisters, Eva Dodson, Elsie Batten, Susie Yowell, Lillian Aylor, Delsa Hawkins, Eolia Yowell, Anna Jenkins and Annie Ruth Yowell; brothers, Lester Yowell, Bliss Yowell, Odell Yowell and Chester Yowell; grandson, Richard Robert Atcheson II; and 13 stepsons and daughters. Survivors: Seven children, Kemper House Aylor and wife, Brenda, of Madison, Va., Malon House Aylor and wife, Shirley, of Madison, Va., Ruth Aylor Atcheson of Burleson, Annie Aylor Ellis and husband, Bob, of Joshua, Jo Ann Aylor Halaby of Belton, Sue Aylor Beavers and husband, Jack, of Paris, Texas, and Diane Aylor Bomar and husband, Jerry, of Burleson; grandchildren, Tracey Downey, Malon Anthony Aylor, Kemper House Aylor Jr., Jan Marie Henshaw, Deborah Duval, Andrew Landon Bomar and Elizabeth Flora Bartlett; numerous great-grandsons, great-granddaughters, nieces, nephews and other family members; and a host of friends.
