BURLESON -- Frances Marie Lewis, 95, homemaker, passed away November 15, 2012, in Crowley. Service: 10:00 AM, Monday, November 19, 2012 at Light House Church of Burleson. Interment: Bethesda Cemetery in Burleson. Visitation: 4-6 PM, Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua. Francis was born August 9, 1917 in Burleson, Texas to Ercel and Bettie Alice Lancaster Floyd. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Francis loved sewing, quilting, gardening, and reading. She was active in church and taught Sunday School. She was preceded in death by: Husband, Clyde Lewis of 58 years; granddaughter, Pamela Morris; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Survivors: daughter, Bettie Morris and husband Lowell of Rowlett; Gloria Gillaspie and husband John of Burleson; Mary Mercer and husband Roy of Glen Rose; son, Grady Lewis and wife Janice of Burleson; Ercel Lewis and wife Elizabeth of Cd. Victoria, Mexico; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
