Frances Louise Townzen

Frances Louise Townzen, 85, passed away November 2, 2014, at home. Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, November 7, 2014 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Covington Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Thursday at the Funeral Home. Frances was born August 11, 1929, in Gainesville, to Samuel Edward and Louetta (Whitt) Taff. She loved sewing, volleyball, bowling, and fishing. Frances enjoyed quilting and shopping, along with baking and camping. She always took pride in taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joyce Herman Townzen; parents; 2 brothers, Richard Allen Taff, and Harold Edward Taff. Survivors: sisters, Treba Andrews of Joshua, Susie Williams of Burleson, Nancy Lusk of Sachse; brother, Wayne Taff of Fort Worth; 7 children, daughters, Linda Merrick and husband Bill of Apple Valley, CA, Reba Sargent and husband Joe of Burleson, Brenda Tucker of Joshua, Sandy Ayers and husband Rick of Apple Valley, CA, Tresa Selby and husband Ronnie of Burleson; son, Robert Townzen and wife Debra of Fort Worth, Tim Townzen and wife Shelly of Burleson; 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, extended family , and friends.
