Francis F. Waggoner

Francis F. Waggoner, 93, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in Fort Worth. Francis was born June 21, 1923, in Butler County, Mo., to Max and Florence (Gardner) Waggoner. He spent 31 years with the Federal Land Bank Association serving Dunklin and Pemiscot counties in Missouri. Francis' office was consistently rated one of the top farm credit associations in Ark., Ill., and Mo. He was a faithful Christian, serving the church in Caruthersville Mo. as a Deacon, Bible class teacher, and an Elder. He was active with the church in Fort Worth until limited by his health. Francis was also a member of the Kiwanis Club and coached their youth baseball team for 26 years. He was very active with the local baseball program, implementing changes that resulted in it doubling in participation. He received numerous awards over the years for community service in a variety of areas. Survivors: Wife, Lawanda Waggoner; son, Mark Francis Waggoner and wife, Tami; daughter, Paula Taylor and husband, Lowell; grandsons, Nathan Waggoner, and Noah Taylor; granddaughter, Lauren Waggoner; brother, Ray Waggoner, of Florida; and other loving extended family and friends.
