Frank Junior Burton

BURLESON -- Frank Junior Burton, 84, of Burleson, a retired dairyman, died Wednesday Oct. 7, 2009, in Burleson. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: 3 p.m. Monday in Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Frank was born June 28, 1925, in Denison to Frank B. and Ida Clark Burton. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved cows, cattle, farming and all animals. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his son, David Burton, and several sisters and brothers. Survivors: Wife, Carol Burton of Burleson; sons, Garry Burton and wife, Laurie, of Justin, Larry Burton of Everman, Delford Burton of Haslet, Paul Burton and wife, Lisa, of Blue Mound and John Burton of Saginaw; daughters, Linda Wiegel and husband, Frank, of Argyle, Brenda Coates and husband, Otis, of Oklahoma, Kathy Weddel of Haltom City, Beverly Livingston and husband, Pat, of DeLeon and Peggy Rainwater and husband, Mark, of Saginaw; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Jo Lynch; and many extended family members and friends.
