Loving father, husband and grandfather, Maurice Franklin Milner, 78, of Burleson Texas passed away peacefully February 21, 2019 in Fort Worth Texas after a courageous fight against COPD.
He was born December 31, 1940 in Watts Oklahoma to Thomas Edwin Milner and Ethel Loraine McConnell Milner. The youngest of ten children, he was surrounded by numerous loving, supportive and sometimes mischievous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He grew up in Alvarado Texas and spent many nights cruising the town square with life-long friends.
Frank owned Milner Industries in Crowley Texas and Greenville Alabama for over 25 years and had a successful career making concrete air conditioning pads from tools and molds he personally made. He had a brilliant business mind and knack for making anything out of concrete.
He married Molly Kiker Milner on November 22, 1965 and they initially made their home in Fort Worth Texas and then Crowley Texas many years in a home that he designed and built. Together, they adopted two sons who were the center of their world. Frank loved to dove hunt, play golf, watch golf on TV, talk about golf, take late night drives with his oldest grandson Grant and have sleepovers with all three of his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Molly Milner of Burleson Texas; sons Mark Milner of Dallas Texas and Matt Milner and wife Jessica of Grandview Texas; grandsons Grant, Drew and Reid Milner of Grandview Texas; brother; Ralph of Crowley Texas; sisters Imogene Milner Wood of Kansas Oklahoma and Virginia Milner Hulshouser and husband Rayford of Lancaster Texas and numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss his smile, laugh and stories.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 1 sister.
