Fred Allen Riggan was born in Big Spring, Tx on November 15th, 1948 to Loyd and Daisy (Baker)Riggan.
He passed away peacefully early Sunday morning March 16, 2025 as he left for his heavenly home.
Fred attended schools in Big Spring then was drafted into the Army in 1967 and after bootcamp in Georgia, he was stationed in Korea.
Upon returning to Big Spring he went to work at Gandy's Dairies selling milk commercially.
He married Debra(Debbie Adams) Riggan on Nov.15th 1973.
In 1978 they moved to Johnson Co, (Keene) where he took over a Distributorship with Borden's Dairy. He stayed with them for 20 years, then sold it and went to work for C.A.R. Transport in Burleson for another 20 years, retiring in 2014.
Fred was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family very much.
His main hobby, especially when living in Big Spring and being around his hot rod buddies, was buying and fixing up old cars, then reselling them. He loved doing that so well he won a couple of trophies over the years entering them into car shows.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Daisy Riggan and his sister, Gayenell Sullivan.
Fred is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debbie Riggan and 3 children:
Cheri Riggan Bowman and son Shelton Bowman.
Lesli Riggan Badenhorst and husband Vaughn of Ft Worth and their children Jocelyn Echeverry and husband Sebastian of Arkansas, Corbin, Luke and wife Sarina, and Brian Badenhorst, all of Ft Worth.
Keith Riggan and children Dakota Ayers of Georgia and Lauren Riggan of Ft. Worth.
Sisters Remona Stone and husband Darrell, of Stephenville and Brenda Parker and husband Mike of Big Spring, Tx.
Also 4 Great-grandchildren, Blaine, Audrey, Alan, and James, also several nieces and nephews.
Fred and his priceless smile will live forever in our hearts.
