JOSHUA -- Fred W. Woodley, 62, a salesman, died Thursday, June 29, 2006, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Monday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Memorials: Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society. Freddie Wilson Woodley was born Nov. 30, 1943, in Whiteface, to Wilson and Eloise Cooksey Woodley. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and married Jackie Stafford on March 18, 1965, in Whitharral. He was a member of Genesis United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, was an avid sports fan, a practical joker, and he loved animals. He was preceded in death by his mother and beloved companion, Shadow. Survivors: Wife, Jackie Woodley of Joshua; son, Brian Woodley and wife, Lynn, of Greenville; daughter, Jennifer Clucas and husband, Mark, of Crowley; father, Wilson Woodley of Levelland; brothers, Gary Don Woodley of Waxahachie, Eddie Woodley of Levelland; sisters, Rita Dalrymple and husband, Jake, of Midland, Marcia Ann Mosley of Oklahoma City, Okla.; brother-in-law, Don Stafford and wife, Bettye, of Whitharral; sister-in-law, Barbara Grant of Levelland; granddaughter, Jacqueline Clucas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
