CLEBURNE -- Freda C. Campbell, 79, of Cleburne, a homemaker, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Caddo Cemetery, Joshua. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Mrs. Campbell was born Oct. 31, 1928, in Denton to Charley Raymond and Ava Amna Brown Roach. She married James Earl Campbell on Sept. 6, 1958, in Granbury. She was a Baptist and lived her life for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Robert Darrell Rumsey; stepdaughter, Jimmie Earleen Westbrook; brother, Claude "Bud" Darrell Roach; and grandson, Larry Anthony Westbrook. Survivors: Sons, Danny Rumsey and wife, Cynthia, of White Settlement, Phillip "Bub" Rumsey and wife, Bonnie, of Cleburne; stepson, James Anthony "Tony" Walker and wife, Maggie, of Cleburne; stepdaughters, Helen Ruth Walker and husband, Henry, of Cleburne, Eva Marie Brown of Cleburne, Geri Lynn Partain of Haltom City; brother, Charles Rudy Roach of Ringgold; sister, Ava Harriett "Missie" Gray of Krum; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and other family members.
