Frieda Genevieve Connally

BURLESON -- Frieda Genevieve Connally, 84, school teacher, went to be with her Lord November 16, 2012. Service: 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Cana Baptist Church in Burleson. Interment: Ash Creek in Azle. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua. Genny was born March 9, 1928, in Azle, Texas, to Joe V. and Ione Gross Rider. She was a school teacher for Fort Worth ISD for 23 years. Genny was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her home, traveling, sewing, people and loved her Lord. She was a member and very involved with Cana Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: daughter, Jill Henderson; 2 grandchildren. Survivors: husband Tharon Connally of Burleson; children, James Henderson III, Jan Heath, Joni Henderson, Wesley Connally and wife Pongsiri, Lori Lollis and husband Blake, Annell Stevens and husband Wes, Sylvia Ware and husband Chris; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
