WAVERLY -- Gary Dwayne Winsett, 53, of Waverly, Tenn., a contractor, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, in Waverly, Tenn. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Acton Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Gary was born June 24, 1955, in Granbury to Charles and Ann Elliott Winsett. Gary moved to Tennessee in 1986 where he was a well-liked and well-respected general contractor and carpenter. He was a devoted father to his children and a much-loved son and brother. Gary's favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing as he was happiest when outdoors. Survivors: Parents, Charles and Ann Winsett of Godley; sons, Charles Thomas Winsett of Waverly, Tenn., Jeff Winsett of Crestone, Colo., and Mason Winsett of Waverly, Tenn.; daughter, Cassie Winsett of Waverly, Tenn.; brother, James Winsett of Joshua; and sisters, Debbie Cummings of Euless and Zsanell Gilliam of Joshua.
