BURLESON -- Gerald Norman Lee Hamilton, 73, of Burleson, a retired Leather Worker, died Thursday March 11, 2010 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 am Tuesday March 16, 2010 at the Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 pm Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Jerry was born Dec. 31, 1936 in Monet, Ark. to Melvin T. and Atha Norman Lee Hamilton. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He loved western shows and movies, listening to gospel cd's and spending time with his grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jerry Lee Hamilton; brother, Earl "Red" Hamilton; sister, Ilene Fleming. Survivors: Wife, Rita Hamilton of Burleson; son, Ryan Hamilton of Fort Worth; daughter, Gina Hamilton of Wright, Ark.; step-sons, Jason Chandler and wife Karen of Burleson, Darren Chandler of Burleson; 7 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
