Geraldine "Jerrie" Martin

Geraldine "Jerrie" Martin, 78, passed away December 5, 2019, in Burleson. Jerrie was born
May 21, 1941 in Carnegie to Lawrence C. and Susie Rogers. She was a long time resident and
banker of the Johnson County community. Jerrie was an amazing woman and friend, but she
was most honored as a devoted christian, wife, mom, and Nana. She truly was the definition of
a virtuous woman.
Jerrie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lloyd Rogers; sisters,
Betty Jean, and Romelda Vinson; and her beloved husband since 1957, Sidney Martin.
Survivors; son, Terry Martin; daughter, Amy Sadler; Granddaughters, Kristin Wiley and husband
Wes, Mallory, KC Jane; Grandsons, Derek, TJ, and Trevor; Great-grandchildren, Katy, Sydnee,
Kendal, and Brock, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. She was loved and cherished in
life as she will be loved, cherished, and missed in her passing.
