BURLESON -- Gladys Marie Lee, 69, an Avon representative, died Thursday, July 21, 2005. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Mountain Valley Funeral Chapel. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Gladys was born Feb. 18, 1936, in Mount Pleasant, to Lonnie and Buena Howe York. She married Ronald Lee on Oct. 17, 1954, in Fort Worth. Gladys was an Avon representative and collector for 26 years, and a Campfire leader for 15 years. She loved playing dominoes, reading, playing the piano, and music. Gladys also loved her family and just people in general. Survivors: Husband, Ronald Lee of Burleson; daughters, Wrenda Tice and husband, Jim, of Fort Worth, Raundra Carrington and husband, Kevin, of Burleson; sons, Robbie Lee and wife, MaeLeigh, of Sansom Park, Ricky Lee and wife, Tracey, of Burleson; mother, Buena York of Mansfield; brothers, Lonnie York of Burleson, Walter York of Mount Pleasant, Dwight York of Red Oak; sister, Brooka Stokes of Opelika, Ala.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
