Gladys Mildred Roe

Gladys Mildred Roe, RN, BSN, of Burleson passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018. She was born July 24, 1934, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Walter and Ocealine (Robbins) Bays. Services will be held at 2:30 PM Friday, June 22, 2018, at Burleson Church of Christ, with Mr. Karl Jones and Mr. David Rogers officiating. Visitation is from 6-8 PM Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, Texas. Interment will be at Burleson Memorial Park. Gladys loved the Lord her God, as well as her family, who she enjoyed spending time with. She enjoyed her career in nursing and loved gardening and taking care of all animals. Gladys is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jack Roe of Burleson; daughter, Denise Watts and husband, Jim, of Joshua; son, Phillip Roe and wife, Melissa, of Franklin, Tennessee; son, Mark Roe and wife, Dana, of Burleson; daughter, Joni Hutchins and husband, Craig, of North Richland Hills; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; eight brothers; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Rust.
