Glen Raymond Elder

Glen R. Elder, 77, passed from this earth peacefully on April 4th, 2021.  He honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1961 through 1966 and served as a licensed Peace Officer for 25 years.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Elder; brother, Farrell Elder; sister, Elizabeth Bostick; brother-in-law, L.C. (Butch) Johnson and sister-in-law, Sylvia Elder.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Maureen; his sons, Shawn, wife Shannon; David, wife Cindy; his grandchildren, Cason, Alyssa, Alec, Brianne, Kylie and Aaron; his brother, John Elder and sisters, Patsy Johnson and Linda Williamson.

Glen has enjoyed being a member of the Texas Police Association, a 32° Mason and a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family have asked donations be made to Lane Prairie Baptist Church.
