Gordon Lee Kimberling Sr

Gordon Lee Kimberling Sr., 93, of Burleson, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015. He was born Dec. 11, 1921, in Arlington, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, in the Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. No visitation scheduled. Gordon was a retired Lt. Col. from the U.S. Air Force. Gordon is survived by his wife, Zada Kimberling of Burleson, Texas; son, Gordon Lee Kimberling and wife, Sharon of Nemo, Texas; daughter, Sharyn Lea Shelton and husband, Richard, of Arlington, Texas; step-daughters, Amy Bohac of Randlett, Oklahoma; Zada Mayhew of Hurst, Texas; Fran Collins and husband, Raymond, of Decatur, Texas; grandchildren, Sonia Kent, Sharilyn Bohanon, Trisha Hand, Shannon Kimberling, Aleasha Dugan, Shanna Birdsong, Shane Kimberling and Paris Kimberling; step-grandchildren, Vanessa Patchen, Mark Collins, Brad Collins, and Ariane Segura; 41 great-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Kimberling; son, Robert Lee Kimberling; daughter, Janice Kay.
