JOSHUA -- Grace Berry Lindsey, 80, of Joshua, a retired department coordinator, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Grace was born in Purmela to Alvin M. Sr. and Georgie Comer Berry. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Grace was very active and involved in her church. She also enjoyed traveling. She married J.W. "Jay" Lindsey Jr. on Sept. 3, 1948; he preceded her in death. She had been a member of First Baptist Church of Joshua since 1961. She retired from Millers Insurance Group in Fort Worth. Survivors: Sons, Jim Lindsey III and wife, Debbie, of Joshua, Gary D. Lindsey and wife, Vicki, of Crowley; daughter, Darla Lindsey of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Kelli Lindsey Manning, Cade Lindsey, Gary Don Lindsey, Jon Lindsey, Nicole Pierce Bender and Brittany Pierce; and great-grandchildren, Tristan Torres, Parker Manning, Brooklyn Manning, Tyler Bender, Jace Manning, Jayden Lindsey, Talon Lindsey and Lyric Lindsey, with another Lindsey great-grandson expected.
