Grace Laverne Taft

Grace Laverne Taft, 85, passed away November 4, 2014, in Burleson. Service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Friday at the Funeral Home. Grace was born August 17, 1929, in Pittsburg to Windell and Annie (Reed) Hood. She was an active longtime member of Cross Timber Baptist Church. Grace loved sewing and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Taft; 4 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors: daughters, Joy Fay Williams and husband David of Burleson, and Barbara Comeau and husband Mike of Saginaw; 3 grandsons, Richard Williams and wife Sandi, Stephen Williams and wife Kimberly, and Justin Comeau; 2 great grandchildren, Mia and Asher Williams, numerous extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers send donations to Cross Timber Baptist Church Building Fund.
