BURLESON -- Gregory Scott Smith, 30, a bonder with Bell Helicopter, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, in Burleson. Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel/Burleson. Burial: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home/Burleson. Scott was born May 20, 1975, in Fort Worth to Bobby and Donna Vinson Smith. Scott, a volunteer firefighter for Briaroaks, was a graduate of Hill College Fire Academy. He loved reading about history, NASCAR, hunting, water sports and spending time with his family and last, but not least, he loved the Texas A&M Aggies. Scott was a member of First Baptist Church in Burleson. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby and Juanita Smith; great-uncle and aunt, Charlie and Ollie Collins; uncles, Stacey Vinson and Jay Vinson; and great-grandma, Eunice Collins. Survivors: Parents, Bobby and Donna Smith; son, Tyler Smith; daughter, Aston Smith; sister, Kimberly Smith; nephew, Logan Stevenson; grandparents, Jimmy Vinson and Joyce Barns; uncle, Ronnie Smith and wife, Linda; fiancee, Alice Beale and daughter, Barbara Beale; uncle, Derrell; aunt, Penny; cousins, Rachel and Derren Moore; many extended family and friends; and the brotherhood of firefighters.
