Harold Wayne Johnston

Harold W Johnston was born in Meridian, TX on September 16, 1948, to Harold and Emma Jane (Crawford) Johnston. While he fought with all he had this awful thing we call cancer consumed his body and the Lord decided it was time to come home. Surrounded by his family and friends at home as he transitioned to his heavenly home on October 13, 2023.
Harold was an only child. When Harold was only 3 weeks old, he lost his mom to her heavenly home on October 7, 1948, and now they are together again along with many others that have gone on before him. Harold was then raised by what he calls his Ma and Paw (his dad's parents) in Meridian, Texas. Then at the age of 11 they moved to Fort Worth to live with his dad. At a youthful age Harold started doing mobile-home work and was moving mobile-homes and working on a lot in Fort Worth before he even had his license. He continued this occupation for many years throughout his life and he made many great friends during this time. Then when he retired from mobile-home work he went right into RV hauling and made many friends while transporting RV's. Through all this, the thing that he was most proud of was his children. Oh, he loved them dearly, all of them. He always said, "if I promise you something I will always keep my word and will do it." Harold was not an outgoing person but if he loved and cared for you, he put his whole heart into it. No matter it if was family or friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Emma Jane, Lillian and Harold B, his son Shane, and grandson Michael, along with many aunts and uncles, cousin, and family members.
He is survived by his wife Shauna Johnston and 8 of their 9 children and their families.

Janey McKnight and her children Whitney and her husband Ryan and their children, Morgan and her children.
Dustin McCullough and wife Erica and their children Jalen, Jada and Fredrick of Cresson, Texas.
Joseph McCullough and wife Kambri and their children Beau, Jax and Laurel of Trinidad, Texas.
Daniel Johnston and wife Lisa and their children Madison and Oliver of Rio Vista, Texas.
Victoria Cottrell and husband Taylor and their children Jesse and Jace of Joshua, Texas.
Billy Johnston and Braydon Johnston both of Burleson, Texas.
Jamie Johnston and their children Jeff Johnston, Ariel and husband Randall and their children, Eric and wife Meagon and their children, Dawson, and Dillion.

Harold's love for his family and friends will be greatly missed but forever live on in our hearts & memories.
