Hayden Swain "Bob" Carlock

JOSHUA -- Hayden Swain "Bob" Carlock, 78, a retired bonder for Bell Helicopter and longtime farmer, died Monday, June 18, 2007, in Joshua. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Lane Prairie Baptist Church, 412 CR 704, Joshua. Burial: Union Hill Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home between Joshua and Burleson. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Union Hill Cemetery Association, Box 12, Joshua, Texas 76058. Mr. Carlock was born April 3, 1929, in Joshua to Hayden and Minnie Miller Carlock. He married Maxine Fuller on Feb. 25, 1956, in Fort Worth. Bob enjoyed traveling, and he and his wife had visited 48 states, including Alaska. He had a love for cattle and was very involved in his granddaughters' livestock showings. He was also involved in the Joshua FFA Alumni Association. He was a member of Union Hill Presbyterian Church in Joshua and a member of Caddo Grove Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, R.M. "Dick" Carlock, M.B. "Bill" Carlock and A.W. "Jack" Carlock. Survivors: Wife of 51 years, Maxine Carlock of Joshua; son, Rodney Carlock and wife, Teresa, of Joshua; daughter, Janet Bednorz and husband, Ron, of Joshua; granddaughters, Kristin, Kayla, Macy and Anna; great-granddaughter, Natalie Hayden; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
