Hazel F. Brown, 97, of Burleson, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Memorial Service: 11AM Saturday, First United Methodist Church of Burleson. Visitation: 6-8PM Friday, September 26, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Hazel was born March 23, 1917 in Taylor, Texas, to the late Axel and Mary (Johnson) Flink. She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Brown; brother, Axel; and sister, Gertrude. Hazel was a very active, longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Burleson. She was an artist, who loved her Swedish Heritage. Survivors: sons, Fred Brown, and Ronald G. Brown; daughter, Gayle Juraschek; grandchildren, Shane and Laurel Brown, Sara and Jordan Rechis; great-grandchildren, Hanna, Maci, James, Evan, Joseph, and Pol; Nieces, Perry Strong, Billie Anderson; brother, Charles Flink; and many loving friends.
