Helen Jean Barnes

BURLESON -- Helen Jean Barnes, 75, of Burleson died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Burial: Burleson Memorial Park. Helen was born June 29, 1932, in Cleburne to Hulen Otis and Geneva Hall Skinner. Helen married Earl Dewane Barnes, who preceded her in death in January 2005. She was also preceded by her parents, sister, Barbara Rychlik and brother, Gerald Skinner. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Helen retired from Gamma Engineering in 1999. She was a faithful member of Boulevard Baptist Church. Survivors: Son, Richard Barnes and wife, Bettye of Burleson; daughters, Vickie Smith of Burleson, Judy Cagle of Burleson, Connie Linch of Burleson; sister, Annette Lain of Burleson; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
