Helen Aileen Crawford

JOSHUA -- Helen Aileen Crawford, 87, of Joshua, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Funeral Service: 10AM Saturday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6-8PM Friday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Ft. Worth. Helen was born September 8, 1928, in Breckenridge, to Raymond C. and Willie (Lindsey) McDonald. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Pam Harrison. Helen was a sweet, compassionate, loving, and incredible wife, mother, sister, aunt, mother in law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family and family gatherings, and was their heart and moral compass. She will be missed, but we rejoice in the blessed assurance that we will see again all those who have passed on before. Helen was a firm believer in helping others, and was a strong supporter of the orphans in Kankoole, Uganda, Africa. Survivors: son, Johnny Crawford, and wife Gail of Burleson; daughter, Mickie Tigner, and husband Larry of Joshua; son, Randy Crawford, and wife Lori of Colorado; grandchildren, Dashelle Cashion, Jamie Cashion, Joshua Harrison, Mark Crawford, Adam Crawford, Mandy McCoy, Justin Tigner, Clint Crawford, Aaron Crawford; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 nephew; 2 nieces; extended family and friends.
