Helen Lenore Emmert

Albion, Oklahoma

Helen Lenore Head Emmert was born in Albion, Oklahoma on October 3, 1927 and passed away in her home in Joshua, Texas on March 17, 2021.

She married Raymond (Jack) Emmert in 1945.  They had five children, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

She is survived by her half brother Terry Head, her children: Karen Miller and her husband Ed, Mark Emmert and his wife Diana and Joan Cochell.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Emmert, her mother Monta Claborn Smith, her father Darrell Jerome Head, her sister Billie Ruth Clegg, her daughters Jill Elise Emmert and Mary Dale Koen, half siblings, Dennis Head, Paul Head. Sybil Marshall,  and Travis Head.

She retired from General Dynamics in 1986.  Helen served many roles in her church service.  Helen enjoyed playing and competing in table tennis and won a state championship in the women's division.

She was loving, kind and compassionate. Giving to others gave her great joy.  Helen will be missed by many friends and family.
