Helen Stindt Jamison

Helen Jamison, 81, of Burleson, passed away Thursday Aug 23, 2018. Funeral Service: Friday, Aug 31, 2018 at 10am at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Visitation: Thursday, Aug 30 from 6-8pm. Helen was preceded in death by mother, Anita; father, Raymond; son, Kevin; daughter, Debra; brother, Eugene; sister, Diana. Helen was born Sept 7, 1936 in Shiner, TX to Raymond and Anita Stindt. She worked at Burleson State Bank which eventually became Wells Fargo Bank. In her time at the bank, she established lasting friendships with many area residents and businesses. She became a much beloved fixture at the bank and had many regular customers that would wait in her line just to talk to her. Survivors: son, Bryan Jamison and wife, Kelli; sister, Renette Butler; granddaughter, Rachel Martinez and husband, Rene; grandson, David Moxley and wife, Pauline; three great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces, and many others that formed a special bond with her; and longtime friend and companion, Tom Goff. Helen will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul that always had a great smile, a hearty laugh, and a kind word. Her spirit will live on in the lives of those she touched.
