BURLESON -- Helen Doris Jones, 77, of Burleson, a homemaker, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in Decatur. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Doris was born Jan. 3, 1932, in Cleburne to Burley Martin and Mamie Estelle Summerlin Riley. Doris was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved working in her flower garden and cooking. She also loved taking care of her family. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles A. Jones; one son, Charles W. Jones; and one daughter, Edith Janelle Jones. Survivors: Daughter, Doris Jones of Graham; son, Larry Jones and wife, Shirley, of Newark; grandchildren, Janelle, Tommy, James and Jesse; three great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Riley of Burleson; and extended family and friends.
