Helen Lorene Sandefur

FORT WORTH -- Helen Lorene Sandefur, 90, passed away Tues. August 26, 2008 in Fort Worth. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Saturday August 30, 2008 at Highland Church of Christ. Burial: Burleson Memorial Park. Helen was born June 27, 1918 in Wichita Falls to William E. and Minnie E. Martin Petty. She married Foye Sandefur on July 19, 1937 in Wichita Falls. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Helen loved sewing, baking, fishing, camping and traveling especially in the motorhome. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ for 10 years. Helen and Foye owned Sandefur Pet Shop for 39 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Survivors: Husband, Foye Sandefur of Fort Worth; daughter, Gayla Wright of Fort Worth; granddaughters, Tammy Ledbetter of Plano, Tracy Cantu and husband Fred of Murphy; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; extended family and friends.
