Helen Seiler

BURLESON -- Helen Seiler, 98, a homemaker and retired Kmart employee, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at her residence in Burleson. Funeral: at a later date in St. Louis, Mo. Burial: Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Burleson. Mrs. Seiler was born Aug. 12, 1907, in St. Louis, Mo., to Sam and Fannie Kent Sattley. She married G.E. Seiler July 21, 1934, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was a member of Mellow Memorial Methodist Church in St. Louis and was famous for her sewing and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband June 27, 1999. Survivors: Son, Kent E. Seiler of Gaithersburg, Md.; sisters and brother-in-law, Katheryn Peveler of St. Louis, Marie and Jake Seiler of Branson, Mo.; and 21 nieces and nephews.
