Helen Louise Southard

Helen Louise "Lou" Southard passed peacefully on May 22, 2022 and went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 84 years.  Lou was born in Shamrock, TX on April 5, 1938.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, Melvin and Helen Wall, sister Jodie and brother Terry.

She is survived by her son, Gary Southard and wife Nancy of Abilene, her daughter, Angela Bradsher and husband Rob of Burleson, her grandchildren, Jay McFarland, J.D. McFarland, Gregg Southard and Jessica McFarland.  She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter.

Celebration of life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Joshua on May 28 at 10:00 am.  Pastor Dale Wilbanks will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the FUMC food pantry.
