Howard Ray Minter, 78 of Burleson, a retired Electrical Engineer for the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, died Saturday Dec. 25, 2010 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Howard Ray Minter was born Nov. 4, 1932 in Daisetta to Rayburn Davis Sr. and I.V. Spillers Minter. He married Eugenia Joyce Skipper on Aug. 24, 1957 in Daisetta. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Joshua and Burleson Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed working on anything electrical. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, R.D. Jr., and Wilburn Jack Minter. Survivors: Wife of 53 years, Eugenia "Jean" Minter; son, David Glen Minter; daughter, Melodie Dawn Minter.
