Howard Shaffstall Sr.

BURLESON -- Howard Shaffstall Sr., 63, a retired foreman and machinist for Chicago Pneumatic, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Burleson. Mr. Shaffstall was born Dec. 6, 1942, in Franklin, Pa., to John A. and Mary Lorraine Harvey Shaffstall. He loved hunting, fishing and, most of all, his grandkids. He was a Methodist. He was preceded in death by his father in 1966; a brother, Richard L. Shaffstall, in 1963; and a daughter, Robin Shaffstall, in 1976. Survivors: Son, Howard A. Shaffstall Jr. and wife, Joyce; daughter, Sally Pruitt and husband, Eddie; mother, Lorraine Shaffstall; sister, Wendy J. Lagadinos and husband, Barry, all of Burleson; grandchildren, Stratton, Katie and Abby Shaffstall, Halle and Sydni Pruitt; nieces, Brandy Harris and Amber Anderson; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
