Howard Lee Wright

Howard Lee Wright, 81, passed away July 19, 2023, in Burleson, Texas. He was born on July 8, 1942, in Horton, Texas to Loyd and Bennie Wright. He married Sharon Ann West on November 30, 1963. After graduation from Cleburne High School, he went to work for the Santa Fe Railroad in Cleburne. Upon leaving the railroad he started a successful career in Real Estate for many years. Howard was a born salesman and was such a people person that nearly everyone he met became a friend. He loved golf and played with numerous friends for decades. He loved to travel and went all over the world with his wife and close friends. He volunteered a lot of time over the years assisting his wife in supporting many community organizations in Burleson and Cleburne. He and Sharon served on the fundraiser committee for Meals on Wheels of Johnson and Ellis Counties. He was a long-time member of the Calvary Church of Fort Worth/Burleson.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon, his parents Loyd and Bennie Wright and a sister Darla Wright.
He was survived by his brother, Waymon and his wife Belinda, two sisters, Debbie Woodard, and Linda Teske and many nieces and nephews.
