Imogene Owens Lain

Imogene Owens Lain, a retired custodian for the Joshua I.S.D. died May 10, 2010 at the age of 82. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Imogene Owens Lain was born April 19, 1928 in Johnson County to P.C. and Nettie Owens. She loved flowers, birds, and traveling. She was very committed to her job at Joshua I.S.D. (also her alma mater.) Imogene was a patriot and all around unique person. She was preceded in death by a stillborn son and son, Eldon Spigener. Survivors: Granddaughter, Tiffany Winfrey; sister, Eula Davis; nieces, Carolyn Thompson, Judy Burgard; nephews, David Cheek, Rodger Couch, Neal Davis, Donny Owens, Danny Owens; friend and caregiver, Nita Taylor; cousin, Linda Jenkins.
