Iris Kay Elbe Rahar, 55 of Joshua a homemaker, died Sat. July 25, 2009 at her home in Joshua. Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Iris was born October 11, 1953 in East Saint Louis, Illinois to Carl and Thelma Craft Elbe. She married George Ronald Rahar on October 11, 2001 in Belleville, Illinois. She was a member of Cross Timber Baptist Church and loved to crochet. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Anita; and two sisters. Survivors: Husband, Ron Rahar of Joshua; stepson, Raymond Rahar of Fairview Heights, Illinois; brother, Carl Elbe of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
