BURLESON -- Jack Charles Carey,78, a retired manager for Justin Boot Co., died Monday July 30, 2007 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 10:00 am Thursday Aug 2, 2007 at D-FW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Jack was born April 7, 1929 in Amarillo, Texas to Jack Henry and Nancy A. White Carey. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Emery J. Lilge Hospice House in Fort Worth. Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Crawford. Survivors: wife, Sue Carey of Burleson; daughters, Jackie Yates and husband Lamond of Burleson, Amy Waddle of Burleson; son, Joe Carey and wife Elizabeth of Fort Worth; chosen son, John Key and wife Michelle of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Brandi Smith and husband Jodi of Burleson, Chelsea Jones and husband Keith of Burleson, Mitchell Carey of Cleburne, Cody Waddle, Amanda Yates and Sean Waddle all of Burleson; great grandchildren, Emory and Preston Smith, Brooke and Tyler Jones all of Burleson, Jackson Key of Fort Worth; sister, Juanita Sharp of San Angelo; brother, Joe H. Carey of Apple Valley Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; extended family at the Justin Boot Co.
