CROWLEY -- Jack L. Lane, 71, of Crowley, a retired automotive parts saleman, passed away Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Burleson Church of Christ. Interment: Fulton Cemetery in Bosque County. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tarrant Food Bank; Emery J. Lilge Hospice House, 301 Med Park Circle, Burleson, Texas 76028; or a charity of your choice. Jack was born May 9, 1939, in Wichita Falls to Bill and Vinnie Morene Gresham Lane. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jack married Hettie Talley on Sept. 8, 1962, in Walnut Springs. He was a charter Masonic member of the Crowley Masonic Lodge 1437. Jack loved his family and friends, camping, and just driving and exploring. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Billie Christine Davis. Survivors: Wife, Hettie Lane of Crowley; sons, Robert Lane and wife, Rebecca, of Burleson, Jonathan Lane and wife, Tanya, of Burleson; daughter, Mary Beth Lane of Crowley; grandchildren, McKenzie, Courtney, Ashlin, William, Noah, Emmaline, Jonathan Jr. and Rachael; and brother, Bobby Lane of Stephenville.
