Jacky Myrel Hartis

Jacky Myrel Hartis was born August 11,1940 in Aquilla, Texas and passed away on October 25th,2022 at 1:25AM in Burleson, Texas where he was surrounded by his loved ones.

Jacky married Patricia Hyles in June of 1965, and were married for 57 great years. Then moved to Burleson, TX in 1969 in which still live today. He began to work for HB Zachary were he later retired after 30 years of service. They were blessed with two children, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jacky enjoyed his family, fishing, gardening, tinkering with wood work and the great outdoors.

He is proceeded by Parents Jack and Grace Hartis, infant brother Joe, two sisters Wanda Ward and Jane McGee, and brother in-law Tony Gerik.

Jacky is survived by his wife Patricia Hartis, two children Scott Hartis and Christy Adkins (Shawn Davis), three grandchildren Courtney Flowers (Patrick Flowers), Ryan Adkins (Heather Adkins) and Jarrett Adkins (Noelle Tyler). Three great grandchildren Brentley & Bristol Flowers and Hagen Adkins. His four sisters Patsy Williams of Pineville, LA, Glenda Gerik of West, TX, Linda Karlik (Patrick Karlik) of West TX, Marilyn Conger of Burleson, TX. Aunt Gladys McDaniels of Hillsboro, TX and brother in-law Don McGee of Aquilla, TX. Along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
