The man. The myth. The legend. James Michael Creede passed away on June 29, 2016. Service to be held at 10 AM Wednesday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6-8 PM Tuesday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, Texas 75211. James, aka Jim, was a NASCAR loving, classic car driving, Dallas Cowboys fan to the end. Yes, he had his faults. He enjoyed drinking coffee with his buddies every morning as well as using his senior discount wherever possible. He enjoyed long walks down country roads and watching high school baseball games. He served his country proudly in the US Air Force. At the tender young age of 19 he met the love of his life that continued for 53 years until his passing. He truly embodied the famous song, "He stopped loving her today." He was a wonderful husband, devoted father, and doting pawpaw. Survived by his loving wife Janice of Diana, daughter Pamela (Uwe) Rabler of Burleson, and daughter Kim (Greg) Platt of Rowlett. Brother Roy Creede of Greensboro, North Carolina. Grandchildren: Krystal, Elizabeth, Zach, Courtney, Jordan, and Addison. He will be forever remembered for his kindness and quick wit.
