James Austin Hughes, 81, of Burleson, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 in Fort Worth. Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home, 3407 Southwest Wilshire Blvd., Joshua, TX 76058. Visitation: 6-8 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Graveside Service: Immediately following Funeral Service at Skyvue Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd., Mansfield, TX 76063.
James was born April 14, 1937 in Texarkana to James Austin Sr. "Tim" & Anne Gertrude (Taylor) Hughes. He had a lifetime passion for music and photography. He worked as an Electronic Service Tech.
Preceded in death by his Parents, James & Anne Hughes of Texarkana, Son, Brent Stringer of Porter, TX, and Granddaughter, Maegan Hughes of Burleson, TX.
Survivors: Wife, Cheryl Hughes of Burleson, TX; Children, Sheila Foucault of Porter, TX, J. Michael and wife Kayla Hughes of Fort Worth, TX, and Shannon McClure of Grandview, TX; Grandchildren, Christina Barrera of Porter, TX, Deanna Horstman of South Dakota, Robin McClure of Grandview, TX, Taylor and husband Tim Moseley of Camp Pandleton, California, Aria Hughes of Fort Worth, TX and Grant Hughes of Fort Worth, TX and five Great Grandchildren.
